Seniors from the Loyola University Maryland swim team reached out looking for a retro-inspired logo for their upcoming season’s swim caps. Their goal was to create something that honored the school’s heritage while still feeling at home in an NCAA setting.
To capture that balance, I researched the university’s visual history and pulled references from vintage varsity marks found in Loyola’s online yearbook archive. From there, I developed a series of logos that blended old-school typography with modern clarity. Some concepts incorporated the school crest to emphasize the historical angle further.
In the end, the team chose a clean, classic direction: their current primary mark paired with a custom varsity script. Simple, timeless, and true to the Greyhounds’ identity.
Go Hounds!

Early in my college career, Middle Atlantic Swimming approached me to design the logos for their Summer Championship Series. It was my first time working on large-scale event branding, and I leaned heavily on NCAA-style aesthetics as I learned the ropes.
By the time they invited me back the following year, I had grown significantly as a designer and felt more confident in my own visual voice. Instead of repeating the clichés from previous seasons, I set out to build a unified identity system — a collection of logos that felt cohesive as a series while still giving each event its own character.
This project became my first true exploration of creating a branded ecosystem, and it pushed me toward the kind of bold, flexible sports identity work I still love doing today.

A spin on the school's crest and school colors. Took heavy inspiration from old school baseball jerseys, as well as my own Little League soccer trophies, which I had lying around my house.

T-shirt design done for the 2025 SCM Baseball league champions: The Cannoneers! Took heavy inspiration from classic NCAA tournament style logos with the cell-shaded metallic gleam in the letters. Enjoyable quick design!

The 2025 LSCHS Rugby team won the state 7v7 championship, and I was lucky enough to be asked to design the logo for their championship shirts.
